‘Frosty’ Miller Medal

The ‘Frosty’ Miller Medal is awarded to the VFL leading goalkicker each year and was first awarded in 1999.

Jim ‘Frosty’ Miller holds the record for being the VFA/VFL’s leading goalkicker on six occasions (1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1973 and 1974).

Miller led the VFL goalkicking table in six out of seven years between 1968 and 1974.

Miller kicked 100 goals twice (106 in 1969 and 108 in 1973), was a member of Dandenong’s 1971 Premiership team and is fifth on the all-time VFA/VFL goalkicking list with 883 goals from 183 games at an average of 4.8 goals per game.
