VFL SUNDAY RECAP: Round 9

In the final game of Round 9 Peter Jackson VFL action, Williamstown claimed the points against North Ballarat with a dominant second half.

The Roosters led by two points midway through the first term, but once the Seagulls hit the front 24 minutes into the term, they never gave the visitors another look in.

Williamstown consolidated second spot on the ladder with a sixth straight victory. Leading by 25 points at half time, the Seagulls kicked away in the third term with five goals to one to set up a match-winning 57-point lead at the last change. The home team once again had a good spread of goalkickers, with four multiple scorers among 10 individual goalkickers.
