14 VFL players invited to combines

Werribee forward Josh Corbett was the only Peter Jackson VFL player recently invited to October’s national NAB AFL Draft Combine, but 13 further VFL players have scored invites to the Victorian State Combine or Rookie Me Combine.

See lists of VFL invitees to all combines below.

Corbett’s Tigers teammate Sam Collins was invited to the Victorian State Combine, while Port Melbourne, Richmond and Williamstown all boast two invitees across the Victorian combines. A further six VFL clubs will also be represented by one of their players at a Victorian combine.

The AFL Draft Combine will be held at Etihad Stadium from October 2-5, with the Victorian State Combine to take place after its conclusion at the same venue on Friday October 5. The Rookie Me Combine will be run at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre on Saturday October 6, with all events to assess the physical capabilities of attendees in a range of tests.
