AFLW Draft Combine results

Several Victorian under-18 players who appeared in the Swisse Wellness VFL Women’s this year featured among the top five results in various tests at this week’s NAB AFL Women’s Draft Combine in Melbourne.

Collingwood VFLW premiership player Nicola Xenos recorded the fastest time of all participants in the 20m sprint and was also the quickest Victorian in the 2km time trial, with Magpies teammate Gemma Lagioia also featuring in the top five results in two tests.

Western Bulldogs goalkicker Elisabeth Georgostathis posted the quickest time of all Combine invitees in the agility test, while her VFLW Grand Final teammate Sophie Molan was the last Victorian youngster remaining in the endurance-based yo-yo test.
